Some More Dreads!

I have my heart set on getting some dread extensions, and I found a place that has some for a killer price... but it seems they dont have dreads in my color...
My question to all of you is what color (by their description) would you buy if you had hair like this (the picture is from when I had natural dreads)

What color would you say (from the colors avalible in dreadlocks) is closest to my natural hair color. I dont want to dye my hair and I know that most of the roots should be covered since they are DEs.

I am so glad I got a screen capture of this! That is my fireball necklace right on the front page of Etsy! I didnt even know it...I just opened my Etsy page and had all these convos congratulating me...and I had no idea why! Well, I quickly figured it out and I just had to share my excitement. It is really nice to see that someone else likes my work enough to put it on the front page...and it might be cool for you readers as well. Following this piece from it's infancy all the way through to this! Lets hope that someone takes a shine to my little necklace and wants give it a home. I was debating on buying a showcase, but now I dont think that I will (especially since people seem to be on the fence about it's effectiveness). Even if I dont sell my fireball necklace, it is getting a lot of views, and hopefully that will spill over into my shop. Thanks who ever thought my work was good enough to get this honored spot! I am so greatful!

New Baby!

I got to meet my brand new pseudo niece today. She is only like 2 days old. She is just a doll! She slept almost the entire time we were there. Both my husband and I got to hold her (along with everyone else) and that was just wonderful. I figured I would blog about my favorite picture of the little one...she is just "rock'in on" with her mommy!
I really would love a little kid-let of my own, but it is not in my cards right now. School is just too big, and having a kid would definitely put quite a kink in the plans. If it happens, it happens, and we would deal with it. I want to start "not worrying" about it happening on my 25th birthday. I want to have my kids while I am still young so I can enjoy my time with my husband once they leave the nest. The hard part is that my body wants a baby, and I have to deny that part of me for now. It is hard. I wonder how Dot would react to a baby. I am sure she would be very patient and protective. She is a great kitty.
Oh, and on the way home, we ran into a hot air balloon thing. It was the first time ever saw them in real life and tried to take pictures. If you click on the baby picture you can also find those on my flickr account.

Dream a little Dream...

This is going to be a short and sweet entry tonight, mainly because I just want to dream a little. See, one of my dreams in to own my very own castle. And when I say castle I mean a real castle, built to my specifications from stone and wood! I have been dreaming this dream for so long...but it seems so far off! I dont want 1000 rooms or anything, just 3 bedrooms, a kitchen...the normals stuff...but in castle form. I even know the company I want to hire to build me my dream castle: Castle Magic! They are more affordable than you would think, not much more than building a normal house. It just seems so far away...and if I ever do do this, I wont ever want to move, so I will need a job that isnt going to evaporate. I want my little castle, a pond, and a chicken coop...is that too much to ask?
